Henry Beam Piper was one of the lights of the golden age of SF. His Uller Uprising is a story of a future colonial empire on which hundreds of suns never set. David Weber's Honor Harrington books have delighted readers with their tales of heroism, strategy, and politics. On Basilisk Station she begins her illustrious career. Come to the Book Club to discuss the similarities and differences between these two fine authors of military SF from different generations, and what they tell us about SF in general. This is not a standard panel you will listen to. Everyone attending will be expected to have read both books (which will be fun!) and participate in the discussion.
